Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application development aligns with business objectives, overseeing project timelines, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to drive project success. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications meet the required standards and specifications while fostering a collaborative environment for your team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in GraphQL (Query Language). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microservices and Light Weight Architecture. - Strong understanding of API design and development. - Experience with application performance monitoring and optimization. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools. - Abstract layer implementation: o Design and implement a scalable and performant GraphQL API using best practices. o Define and document GraphQL schema, types, and resolvers. o Develop unit and integration tests for the GraphQL API. o Work closely with frontend developers to understand their data needs and tailor the GraphQL API accordingly. o Identify opportunities to optimize the GraphQL API for performance and efficiency. o Develop and maintain documentation for the GraphQL API. o Troubleshoot and debug issues related to the GraphQL API. - Microservices / Micro-FrontEnd Architecture: o Expertise in Module Federation implementation (Webpack, React) in implementing unified User Interface. o Expertise in designing and implementing microservices. o Understanding of service orchestration and communication patterns (e.g., REST, gRPC, message queues). - API Design & Integration Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs ensures efficient data exchange between frontend and backend components, facilitating seamless integration and scalability. - Cloud & Serverless Architecture Experience with Azure services like Azure Functions and App Service enables the development of scalable, event-driven applications that automatically adjust to varying workloads. - Infrastructure as Code with Terraform Utilizing Terraform allows for the declarative provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure, promoting consistency, repeatability, and version control across environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in GraphQL (Query Language). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
