1. Core Responsibilities

A. Application Management

Analyze customer requirements and identify automation opportunities. Evaluate technical feasibility and develop high-level machine/automation concepts. Review application studies, layouts, and cost estimates prepared by the application engineers. Ensure all applications meet company standards for cost, quality, and performance.
B. Team Leadership

Lead, guide, and mentor the automation application engineering team. Allocate resources and prioritize application projects based on business needs. Conduct technical reviews and approve final application concepts before submission. Provide training on new technologies and industry best practices.
C. Pre-Sales and Proposal Support

Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and validate technical proposals. Support in creating competitive quotations with clear application solutions. Participate in customer meetings and presentations to explain application concepts. Ensure application deliverables align with commercial strategies and pricing.
D. Project Coordination

Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and project management teams for smooth concept handover. Provide technical support during design reviews and project execution stages. Resolve escalated technical issues related to application feasibility.
E. Customer Relationship Management

Engage with customers for technical clarifications and concept approvals. Build long-term relationships with key customers by providing innovative automation solutions. Conduct application demonstrations and workshops when needed.
F. Research & Development

Monitor new automation technologies and assess their applicability. Standardize and modularize solutions to reduce cost and lead time. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in automation applications.



2. Key Skills Required

Strong knowledge of automation systems (robotics, conveyors, SPMs, control systems). Expertise in CAD and automation simulation tools. Strong project management and leadership skills. Ability to balance technical feasibility with commercial constraints. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of industrial standards and safety requirements.



3. KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

Application-to-order conversion rate. Accuracy and feasibility of automation concepts. Reduction in application study cycle time. Cost competitiveness of proposed solutions. Team performance and technical capability growth. Customer satisfaction with application studies and proposals.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
