Role Overview:

As an

Application Engineer - Software

, you will design and develop

embedded software and firmware

for instrumentation products, work on UI applications, and integrate software with hardware. This role offers challenging projects and opportunities to work on

IoT-enabled, analytics, and innovative instrumentation solutions

.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop software system architecture and convert requirements into design tasks Design and develop

firmware applications

and UI (Embedded Qt, Java, LabView) Work on

hardware-software integration

(ADC, DAC, sensors) Application testing, debugging, and production release documentation Follow ISO-compliant

design workflow and process adherence

Project management: plan, schedule, and deliver NPD launch targets Mentor and support 1-2 engineers in project execution

Must-Have Skills:

Embedded C/C++, Qt, Java, Python

Embedded Linux programming (Yocto added advantage) Firmware-hardware integration Communication protocols:

I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, Ethernet

Experience with

source code management tools

: Git, SVN, Azure Experience with at least

1 full product lifecycle

from design to production Strong

low-level debugging and application testing skills

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of

hardware design for instrumentation

System-level software architecture experience LabView and embedded UI experience Experience handling projects from

prototype to production

Educational Qualifications:

BE/B.Tech in

E&C, E&E, Telecom, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or Information Science

Embedded training for

ARM processors

M.Tech is a plus
