JOB PURPOSE
This position supports the Asst. Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Business Development in Kolkata and is responsible for developing Rockwell Automation products along with Digital Transformation Software Solutions business in Eastern region of India.
RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communication

• Be the Sonepar Front line business development force for effective communication with Customers for all product portfolio on Rockwell Products and IIOT application strategies.
• Plan & execute the marketing activities across assigned customers with close-coordination with Partners\xe2\x80\x98 sales team & internal sales team.
• Prepare custom, detailed solution presentations based on the findings and understanding of the customers\xe2\x80\x99 business requirements.
• Deliver product solution demonstrations in support of the sales process.
• Active enagement with Partners (Rockwell/PTC) for opportunity specific discussion, update, plan for joint activities.
• Discussion on active opprotunities with Partners\xe2\x80\x98 sales team & internal sales team at regular intervals.

Internal Communication

• Provide close support to Sales in the form of product selection assistance & validation.
• Coordination of proposal workflow.
• Sharing knowledge to sales team on new products & solutions in support of sales activities and strategies.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• PLC/DCS/VFD/SCADA/Vibration (preferably on Rockwell Automation)
• Industry 4.0 \xe2\x80\x93 IIOT platform, Cloud Computing, Augmented Reality, AI/ML.
• Effective Communication/Quick Problem Solving
• Analytical Thinking/ Cross-Function Co-ordination.
• Must be proactive and should possess high sense of responsibility.
• Must have capabilities to explore new technology / application area.
• Ability to uncover, understand and capture business and technical requirements.

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics or Masters\xe2\x80\x98 Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Overall 6-8 years of experience in Industrial Automation & Software with Minimum 3 years hands-on experience on Rockwell along with Industry 4.0, IIOT platform & Augmented Reality environment.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

ROLE LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• The role is based in Kolkata.
• Willing to travel more than 50% of time within Eastern & NE Part of India.
