We are looking for an

Application Engineer m/f/d

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Tasks

• Pre-Sales support to assist technical project requirements and map out potential solutions to customer technical challenges
• Prepare demos, benchmarks, technical presentations
• Support product evaluations/trial by prospects
• Gather competitive intelligence and distribute among peers to help them win business.
• Identify all technical issues of assigned customer accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process
• Post Sales issues support and escalation including direct ownership for technical areas received
• Working with sales teams to provide proactive support on products and projects to anticipate and escalate potential issues to help close sales opportunities.
• Provide post-sales customer support - Order fulfillment
• Provide software installations and customer trainings
• Prepare and support marketing events like seminars, webinars, trade shows
• Provide valuable field feedback to HQ for product enhancements & improvements

Requirements

• Experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• CAD-Systems (preferably AutoCAD, CATIA, thinkdesign, SolidWorks) CAM-Systems NC-Programming
• Some years of work experience in applying CAD/CAM or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in Production Technology
• Pre-sales application engineering support for CAM systems is preferred
• Hands-on machine tool experience is desirable
• Self-management
