Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Understand customer requirement (engine inputs) for turbocharger selection. Turbocharger aero matching to suit customer requirement. - Preferred Layout finalization across packaging & analysis. Interpret Engineering Drawing, application of GD&T, Generation of drawing for Part Manufacturing. Prepare Hardware of suitable turbocharger and ETV for engine testing Analyse turbocharger & ETV validations requirement (DVP), plan & execute validations on the engine and on end applications for application sign off. Conduct performance & durability engine testing & analyse data. Design and modify parts as per requirement by using Creo 5.0 software/SolidWorks/CATIA V5/UG/AutoCAD Failure Analysis with Supplier and cross functional teams involving vehicle integration team, validation team Engine team, Design team, NVH team, Analyze technical issues using proven problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques for rapid resolution. Product Installation Quality - Identifies and applies ways to improve machine integration to minimize rework and deliver the best product to customers. Ensures that repowered hardware are installed correctly and meet requirements through an installation review process.

Skills and Experience Required:

Experience Range - 2 to 6 Years Qualification - Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Field of thermal and fluid science is preferred) Collaborates with customers, internal stakeholders & communicates effectively Sound knowledge of GD&T (Geometrical dimensioning & tolerancing), Part modelling, Manufacturing Processes of Engine components. Combines various parts or sub-systems into a whole to achieve the output most desired by the project team using standard tools, processes. Design & Analysis skills: Creo, CATIA, UGNX, Pro-E Team Center, Solid Edge, Cordys, Windchill & Auto Cad - Skill Level - Preferred Intermediate Advance excel skills preferred for engine data analysis Excellent presentation skills to communicate message effectively to customer.
