Experience:

1-2 years of experience in application engineering, proposal engineering, or design engineering in material handling, process equipment, or industrial machinery sector.

Salary:

25000 to 35000 PM

:

A. Technical Proposal & System Design

Understand customer RFQs, specifications, and tender requirements. Prepare technical proposals, system layouts, PFDs, and equipment sizing. Select appropriate material handling equipment (belt conveyors, screw conveyors,
RAVs, silos, screeners, pneumatic systems, bag filters, etc.).

Calculate capacities, power requirements, conveying velocities, pressure drops, and
equipment sizing.

Prepare BOM, technical data sheets, and concept drawings with engineering team.

B. Customer Interaction & Sales Support

Conduct technical discussions with customers to clarify scope and requirements. Provide techno-commercial support to the sales team during bidding. Attend client meetings, presentations, and site visits for data collection. Respond to customer queries and provide optimized solutions.

C. Costing & Estimation

Prepare cost estimations, equipment pricing, and BOQ for proposals. Coordinate with procurement and vendors for component pricing. Prepare final techno-commercial offer with detailed inclusions/exclusions.

D. Documentation & Compliance

Prepare compliance statements, deviation lists, and tender documentation. Ensure all proposals meet industry standards (IS/ISO/ASME) and internal design
guidelines.

Maintain proper records of proposals, revisions, and communication.

E. Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and automation teams to finalize system
design.

Provide required inputs to design/production teams after order finalization. Support project team during customer kick-off meetings and design reviews. Strong knowledge of material handling equipment (belt/screw conveyors, bulk
storage silos, RAVs, vibrating screens, pneumatic conveying systems, dust collectors, etc.).

Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings (PFD, PID, GA Layouts). Good understanding of process flow, capacity calculations, and equipment selection. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks software. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Customer-centric approach with solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple proposals.
