Job Summary
As a Machine Vision Engineer, you will be pivotal in designing, testing, and deploying advanced vision systems to enhance our manufacturing processes and ensure the highest product quality. Your expertise will help us innovate and improve our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Algorithm Development:
Design & Implement:
Create and refine computer vision algorithms for image processing, object detection, recognition, and tracking.
Optimize Performance:
Fine-tune algorithms for maximum accuracy and efficiency in real-world applications.
Image Acquisition & Pre-processing:
Select Equipment:
Choose and configure the right cameras and sensors tailored to specific applications.
Enhance Quality:
Develop pre-processing techniques to improve image quality and the effectiveness of vision algorithms.
Machine Learning Integration:
Model Integration:
Incorporate machine learning models for tasks such as pattern recognition, classification, and anomaly detection.
Train Models:
Fine-tune models using labeled datasets to enhance system performance.
Hardware & Software Integration:
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with various teams to integrate machine vision systems into our existing manufacturing processes.
Ensure Compatibility: Liaise with hardware engineers to guarantee seamless communication between vision and control systems.
Quality Control & Testing:

Keep comprehensive documentation for all machine vision systems, including algorithms, hardware configurations, and testing procedures.
User Documentation: Provide clear, concise documentation for end-users and support teams.
Stay Current with Industry Trends
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in computer vision, machine learning, and related technologies.
Evaluate New Tools: Recommend new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance our machine vision capabilities
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven track record in developing and deploying machine vision solutions in an industrial environment.
Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
Computer Vision Expertise: Experience with libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with image processing techniques, feature extraction, and pattern recognition.
Hardware Proficiency: Understanding of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (USB, GigE, Ethernet/IP).
Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree: PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field.
3D Vision Experience: Knowledge of 3D vision and depth sensing technologies.
