Essential Duties And Responsibilities Key Deliverables: Including but not limited to: Provide Technical and application support to the customers in the form of demonstrations and technical Q&As in the field of machinery market using Motion control system & Components Application development and execution of the customer projects at sites. Interprets customer needs and aids the customer in defining technical and commercial requirements Provides technical documentation or product specifications when needed Coordinates activities (training, visits) in territory or customer set in partnership with Field Sales. Professional communications via telephone, e-mail, letters and in person Assists in developing standard policies and procedures to support continuous improvement initiatives and metrics Programming, emulation, simulation, debugging and startup of application systems, per requirement specification. Internal and external training Internal Technical Support activities Documentation of application projects Planning of application projects, assignments and tasks Creation of application notes and success stories. Business Travel as required- Extensive travelling might be required -upto 60% of the time in some cases. Learn / Apply Regal Business System (RBS Tools) to drive overall improvement. Critical Competencies Strong technical knowledge with the ability to learn and understand product features and function Strong customer service skills including the ability to probe deeper to fully understand what the customer is needing Ability to work cross-functionally to meet customer needs Strong attention to detail and ability to manage to a schedule Fair knowledge and understanding of applications of OEMs and to Distributors plus good technical know-how in motion control applications and fieldbus systems ( Ethercat, Profibus, Profinet. CanOpen ,Sercos, Modbus etc) Experience in handling and configuration of Motion controllers and PLCs in the factory automation environment. High level of energy, dynamic and self-driven Positive mental attitude, confident, enthusiastic, motivational Ability to take and implement initiatives, results oriented Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to create team working Ability to cope with pressure as well as flexibility or mobility for frequent traveling Road warrior, knows how to survive with little or no backup Strong oral and written communication skills in English including group presentation skills Strong, confidence-inspiring personality. Fluent in English Education And Experience Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
