About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic
Application Engineer for Sales
with a strong technical foundation and proven sales experience in the Process and Water market industry. This field-based role is pivotal in driving sales growth, building client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle -- from lead generation to payment collection. You will play a key role in promoting
flow solutions
and
dosing systems.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively visit clients to generate and qualify leads.
Provide technical consultations and promote chlorination system solutions.
Collaborate with Inside Sales to prepare timely and accurate quotations.
Negotiate terms and close orders.
Ensure timely payment collection as per terms.
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Service, Logistics, Accounts) for seamless execution.
Update clients on deliveries and post-sales support.
Own the entire sales cycle from enquiry to closure and follow-up.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Mechanical or related fields
Experience:
3-7 years in technical/industrial sales
