in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Discrete Element Method (DEM) simulations to provide advanced technical support, training, and solution development for our customers using Ansys simulation tools. Candidates with a background in
Chemical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support:
Provide technical support for
Ansys Fluent, Ansys Rocky
, and other relevant tools, addressing a broad range of simulation challenges including multiphase flow modeling.
Troubleshoot simulation issues, interpret results, and provide actionable guidance.
Simulation Setup and Customization:
Assist in setting up and validating
multiphase and particle-laden flow
simulations using CFD and DEM coupling.
Guide customers on meshing strategies, solver settings, particle definition, and post-processing techniques.
Training and Enablement:
Conduct workshops, webinars, and hands-on training sessions for customers and internal teams on CFD + DEM modeling best practices.
Prepare training content tailored to customer application domains (chemical reactors, powder flow, heat exchangers, etc.).
Proof of Concept & Benchmarking:
Collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to address complex customer-specific engineering problems.
Support proof-of-concept and benchmarking activities for pre-sales.
Customer Success and Feedback:
Document recurring issues and solutions in knowledge base articles.
Capture customer feedback for continuous improvement of tools and workflows.
Required Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:
M.Tech / M.E. / M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
with specialization in fluid or particle systems.
Experience in customer-facing roles, technical consulting, or support.
Exposure to industry-specific workflows: chemical process design, thermal systems, bulk material handling, or pharmaceuticals.
Experience with post-processing tools such as
CFD-Post
, Ensight, or custom Python-based visualization.
Awareness of Ansys latest release features for Fluids and DEM products.
