The Role

An Application Engineer will provide optimum vacuum pumping solution as required in the presale enquiries. Application Engineer shall aid in resolving customer complaints related to application issues. Application Engineer must involve in taking run test trials at Factory for simulated test conditions of Customer requirements.

The role also involves visiting Customer for understanding the application requirements and support for trouble shooting.

Responsibilities

• Application support during presale.

Understand the process requirements.

Study on pros and cons of process affecting Vacuum system.

Preparation of data sheets.

Visit to Customer to understanding applications requirements.

Calculations as per process data inputs.

Sizing and selection of vacuum pump and accessories.

Preparing standard operating procedure for a pump as per process requirement.

• Sizing and selection of accessories for various applications.

Support for development of new accessories.

Taking on field trials of accessories and preparing analytical reports.

Standardizing of accessories for specific applications.

• Coordination with service team for proper commissioning of vacuum Pumping systems and evaluating the Application results.

• Application support for complaints analysis and troubleshooting for root-cause analysis

• Application requirements must be communicated to design/Engineering for further actions.

• Reports and documents for Application

Preparation of visit and application study reports

Preparation of accessories study and validations reports.

Support for preparing website content documents.

• Keep a data base of various applications and the number of running hours with support from service team.

• Training

On-site training on vacuum technology and application to the customer.

Train sales and marketing team for getting required data from the field.

Train service engineer for application trouble shooting as and when required.

What we expect of you?

A Graduate Chemoical Engineer with 2 to 4 years industries experience, preferably in Chemical / Pharma process.

Motivated individual, willing to travel and self driven.
