ACS is software that makes it faster for to integrate Amazon Device SDKs into devices that are transforming the smart home and run Amazon services, like Alexa.

Key job responsibilities
This job requires you to hit the ground running and your ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks that will define your success. Some of the key job functions include -

• Manage the AWS infrastructure of the team; this includes proposing & implementing scalable cloud solutions.
• Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services. Setup systems, monitor and configure alarms to prevent downtime.
• Diving deep into service interdependencies and configurations to troubleshoot & identify the root cause of a problem
• Investigating new ways to improve operations and defining new solutions to solve technically complex cloud issues for ACS.
• Provide support of incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services
• Work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects, primarily in Python, Perl, or shell scripts, web technologies, with the potential for Java based projects
• Work with others in the team for handing-off or taking over active support issues and creating a team specific knowledge base and skill set.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of development or technical support experience
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
• Experience in Unix
• Experience scripting in modern program languages

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field - B.E ,B.Tech. ,MSC IT and MCA.
• Professional experience of 2+ years in Operations / Support environment.
• 2+ years of experience in AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, RDS, Step Functions, CodeBuild, CodeCommit.
• Detailed knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system and tools.
• Experience working with database, SQL queries etc.
• Experience in analyzing system/application logs and identifying root cause.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in Perl/Python/Java.
• Clear and effective communication & documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
