Job Description

The Application Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications to meet client and project requirements. The candidate should have 3-6 years of relevant experience and strong problem-solving skills to contribute effectively to cross-functional teams and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, QA, sales) to understand requirements and deliver robust application solutions. Analyze user and business requirements to translate them into technical specifications and actionable development tasks. Design, develop, and implement scalable application frameworks using industry-standard software development practices. Conduct thorough testing (manual and automated), debugging, and documentation to ensure performance, security, and reliability of applications. Provide technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement maintenance updates for existing applications. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, technical processes, and updates. Coordinate with customers and stakeholders for application demonstrations and training sessions as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. 3-6 years of hands-on experience in software/application development. Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or SQL; hands-on with debugging and testing tools. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams. Experience with documentation, process optimization, and providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills

Familiarity with agile development cycles and source control management. Exposure to manufacturing or industrial application environments is a plus but not mandatory.
