will be responsible for management, development and support of the Entitlement Management System application, Thales Sentinel for Vertiv. The
EMS Technical Analyst
will cover the day-to-day development and administration of the EMS platform. The role will handle many of the common development and administrative tasks, including managing all instances, user administration, development backlog and standards, configuration review, configuration migration, platform integrations monitoring, and issue resolution. This role will also be responsible for development and implementation efforts regarding upgrades, enhancements, defects, and new functionality.
Key Duties
Provide development and administrative support of all implemented areas of EMS for Vertiv
Perform development on the backlog of enhancements and defects
Support all EMS integrations to other platforms in the portfolio - Oracle
Coordinate and implement requirements using Workflow, JavaScript, REST/SOAP, Orchestration, and other EMS supported configurations
Perform hands-on technical design, solution architecture, architecture roadmaps, prototyping and proof-of-concepts, and development tasks as required in support of current and new products onboarded onto the platform
Act as a liaison between Engineering team, Sales Offering team, Business Functions, and System Integrators to drive enhancements
Contributes into creating Functional Requirement Documentation
Analyze production configuration issues and resolve any functional gaps
Generate and maintain documentation for changes made to systems. Assist in the review of documentation created by team members to ensure it is understood, accurate and follows current documentation standards
Collaborate with the Project Management Office to estimate the delivery timelines, estimate resourcing needs, and identify risks & issues upfront
Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams alike, manage task assignments within the team, and take ownership of deliverables
Keep on top of tracking assigned tasks/deliverables, risks & issues and report to Management as needed
Monitor and drive issues to resolution
Participate in validation/testing and release activities as needed
Ensure that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade Compliance
Regulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program
School Background / Working Seniority
2 year experience operating with EMS software
International experience is a plus
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Basic Skills
Good command of English
Technical / Functional skills
Exposure to EMS applications
Exposure to Oracle Cloud / various CRM or ERP
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in AgileScrum and Waterfall methodologies
Experience building integrations (SOAP/REST) in order to automate communication with other platforms as required
Skilled at managing multiple work streams, prioritizing work to meet deadlines
Analytical, and Problem-solving skills are required
Excellent Communication and Teamwork skills
Process Discipline and Documentation skills essential
Knowledge of ITIL v3 an advantage
