Job Summary: Senior ServiceNow Developer
- Position: Senior ServiceNow Developer
- Experience: 7 10 years

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications:
- Mandatory: ServiceNow CSA and CAD
- Preferred: CIS certifications (ITSM, Discovery, SPM, HRSD, CSM, etc.), ITIL v4, Agile
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, and customization of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, GRC, HRSD, App Engine).
- Architect and implement complex workflows, automation, and business processes using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Business Rules.
- Design and maintain ServiceNow integrations with third-party tools (REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server).
- Optimize Service Portal, UI Customization, and Mobile Experiences.
- Implement and manage ITOM solutions (CMDB, Discovery, Asset Management, Event Management).
- Oversee instance upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and platform governance.
- Develop and enforce security models (ACLs, domain separation, encryption).
- Create and optimize Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
- Maintain documentation of best practices, development guidelines, and system configurations.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS, and UI frameworks.
- Experience with Scoped and Custom Applications, App Engine Development.
- Deep understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and ServiceNow governance best practices.
- Experience in ServiceNow Security (ACLs, roles, encryption, compliance).
- Expertise in ServiceNow integrations with enterprise applications (SAP, Workday, Jira, Azure).
- Strong knowledge of Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with platform upgrades, maintenance, and automation.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
- Supported at least 2 major ServiceNow platform upgrades.
Communication:
- Clear communicator with stakeholders and leadership.
- Ability to guide junior team members and explain technical solutions to business analysts.
- Strong documentation and solution presentation skills.
