This role is for a hands-on technology leader to lead the delivery of technology solutions globally, with two pronged objectives: work with the Engineering Architect and envision the strategy and drive the functional transformation to align to Banking target state tech. drive the execution and delivery of key tools and applications leveraging the new technology stack, process revamp (Agile and DevOps) and modern architecture (cloud and micro services adoption) while managing and running the global development team.

The Applications Development Group Manager is a senior level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

Develop, design and deliver the common cross-product workflow-based processes for the strategic deal management platform (Opus) in Banking Partner and assist the global lead of Opus for building out the product and in rolling it out to the bankers globally (6000 user) Provide leadership for the India team and ensure smooth operation of the various squads working towards the initiative achieving all the targeted milestones and deliverables. Drive the design and development of system architecture, work closely with other architects, and enhance the quality of deliverables. Improve scalability within the platforms and work with cloud-based strategy. Ensure change is managed with appropriate controls, documentation, and approvals including implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements Research and resolve issues, provide recommendations, and escalate to senior management as needed. Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department and ensure transparency and collaboration across teams. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

15+ years of relevant experience (financial services preferred). Demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills. Proven hands-on experience developing a loosely coupled micro-services in the Java (8+) technology stack including

spring, spring-boot, spring-data

. Must have experience in Message Oriented Middleware architecture (
