Job Description

This position will be responsible for Leading the Dev Ops functions within a multi-disciplinary team in a cloud (AWS) based development environment. The team believes in the principles of \xe2\x80\x9cDev Ops as Code\xe2\x80\x9d so good scripting and development experience is essential. The role will involve both hands on development of CI/CD pipelines, technical lead responsibilities (best practices, code reviews etc.) and some team management.
Experience in multi-disciplinary agile teams is essential.
The Dev Ops Lead is expected to assist the Technical Lead and Development Managers to develop new functionality as required by the business users. The role will also require some troubleshooting of production incidents and as such may require some out of hours work.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

• Review, analyze, and modify the Dev Ops Code and environments as needed.
• Act as technical lead to ensure good coding standards and provide support to other team members.
• Assist with other development and QA functions within the multi-disciplinary team as necessary.
• Collaborate with users and other IT teams to maintain, develop and deploy the best solutions.
• Establish technology standards with the team and other development managers
• Support both the production and non-production environments working hours as necessary to achieve this.
