Greystar is looking for an Application Developer with Azure to join our global technology team. As an Application Developer with Azure expertise, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications using Java programming language and Azure cloud services. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding business requirements, and implementing efficient and secure software solutions.
In your journey as an Application Developer, you will perform the below:
Roles & responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications on the Azure cloud platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts, system architects, and other stakeholders to gather and understand software requirements.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient code in Java, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Implement cloud-native solutions and leverage Azure services like Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, etc.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for source control, build, and release management.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of application issues.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into the application architecture.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure high software quality through automated testing and continuous integration.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and Azure services.

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience in Java development, including web application development using frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
• Proficiency in database development and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
