8+ years of experience as Oracle Developer


Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle RMS modules (Item, Purchase Orders, Inventory, Transfers, Pricing, and Replenishment).

Customize RMS base functionality using PL/SQL, ProC, and Forms/Reports.


Design and implement data integrations between RMS and other Oracle Retail products such as ReIM, RPM, ReSA, SIM, ORPOS, or external systems.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design documents (TDDs).

Perform unit testing, participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support for RMS incidents and service requests.

Optimize SQL queries and improve performance of batch processes.

Work on migration and upgrades (RMS 14.x to 19.x or RMS to Cloud migration).

Collaborate with functional, DBA, and infrastructure teams for deployments and release activities.

Maintain technical documentation, including configuration, version control, and support runbooks.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, ProC, Oracle Forms & Reports, and Unix Shell Scripting.


Experience in developing or supporting Oracle Retail RMS (v14.x or later).

Good understanding of retail business processes -- Merchandising, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Costing, and Promotions.

Exposure to integration frameworks (e.g., Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB), RSB, or custom API/web services).

Experience in data migration, batch processing, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with RMS database schema and dependencies with other Oracle Retail modules.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
