Summary: As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes to deliver high-quality applications that meet user expectations and business goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of application development frameworks and methodologies. - Experience with database management and SQL. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques. Roles & Responsibilities: - o Strong hands-on experience with Python 4+, writing clean, modular, and testable code, and building asynchronous APIs using FastAPI, leveraging async/await, Starlette, and Pydantic for validation. o Skilled in handling large datasets using pagination, streaming responses, and batching techniques, with lazy loading, and session management using SQLAlchemy for efficient PostgreSQL interaction. o Proficient in background task processing using FastAPI's Background Tasks , and implementing unit/integration tests with pytest, httpx, and pytest-asyncio to ensure backend reliability and performance. o Experienced in prompt engineering for OpenAI/GPT APIs, including crafting closed-ended and open-ended prompts, understanding context window limits (16k/32k), prompt truncation, rate-limiting, token usage tracking, and sending chunked JSON payloads for model consumption. o Working knowledge of Dockerizing FastAPI apps, deploying with multi-stage builds, integrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
