CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - RDBMS position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain database-driven applications across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
• Write, troubleshoot, and optimize PL/SQL, T-SQL, and DB2 LUW code for application development.
• Develop and execute database queries, stored procedures, triggers, and scripts to support application functionality.
• Perform data modeling, schema design, and database architecture planning.
• Conduct application testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure database and application security, integrity, and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot database-related application issues and implement effective resolutions.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency with PL/SQL, T-SQL, and DB2 LUW development.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts, data modeling, and relational database architecture.
• Experience with SQL programming, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work across multi-platform environments (Linux, Unix, Windows).
• Knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and version control practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• Experience developing applications for RDBMS systems on Linux, Unix, and Windows.
• Hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL for Oracle, SQL Server, and/or DB2 LUW environments.
• Background in full application development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting database applications in production environments.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
