Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly within the existing infrastructure. You will engage in problem-solving activities, contribute to key decisions, and manage the development process to deliver high-quality applications that align with business objectives. 1. SAP NS2/BCH Basis Team a. GEF i. GEF Post installation activation, DB connection (Setup DBCO) ii. Post DB installation - Hana DB user ID/password is needed for the connection b. Certificates i. Installation of Certificates c. Web dispatcher i. Web Dispatcher parameters d. Profiles i. System profiles/parameters e. Maintenance i. System restart ii. System refresh f. Firewall Ports i. Whitelisting ports for inbound communication g. Cloud Connector i. Cloud Connector setup (D00, Q01) h. SFTP Folder i. SFTP Folder creation for CCC Temporary versions (SAP NS2) 2. DDM Basis Team a. GEF i. GEF Add-on Installation in SAP Dev (D00) ii. Activate Business functions - FND_GEF & LOG_EAM_GEF iii. Implement SNOTE 3511167 and 3490497 b. GE SBI i. GE SBI Add-on Installation in SAP Dev, Sandbox ii. GE SBI Post installation connections/activation c. Integration Add-on i. ASAPIO Integration Add-on in SAP Dev (D00) ii. ASAPIO Post installation connections/activation d. Post system refresh i. Recreate SAP Solution Manage Project setup in D00 ii. Repoint BRF+ Connection (From D05 to D00) iii. Reload Transport of copies into D00 iv. Post refresh activities in Q01 e. Fiori Launch Pad Admin activities i. Configure content providers using content Federation ii. customize Launch pad sites (Design spaces and pages) f. SAP Build work zone Admin activities i. Site creation and content integration ii. Assign roles, catalogs, and groups to apps for tile visibility. iii. Run provisioning jobs and troubleshoot integration issues iv. SAP S/4 - Fiori Launch Pad - Build work zone connections g. SAP Datasphere i. SAP S/4 and Datasphere connections, Data Provisioning Agents ii. Create RFC and HTTPS destinations in Cloud Connector iii. Activate required services in SAP S/4HANA (INA, OData) iv. Validate and test the connection h. Cloud Connector i. Access logs, connections i. Regular Basis activities i. User management ii. Transport Management iii. Monitoring work processes, logs, locks, dumps iv. SAP Solution Manager activities v. SNOTE implementation vi. RFC connections, parameters vii. BTP admin/cockpit activities Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration. - Strong understanding of system configuration and performance tuning. - Experience with database management and backup strategies. - Familiarity with application lifecycle management tools. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
