Backend developer (Java Spring Boot)DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Java Spring Boot and experience with microservices architecture. The backend developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining our REST API, as well as ensuring the performance, scalability, and robustness of our backend systems. The candidate should be comfortable working with high data volumes, RBAC, multitenancy, and API-to-API synchronization.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain our Java Spring Boot REST APIEnsure the performance, scalability, and robustness of our backend systemsWork with high data volumes and implement solutions for real-time data ingestionCollaborate with other team members to deliver a cohesive and integrated solutionCollaborate with front-end developers and data engineers to ensure end-to-end system functionality and performanceStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practicesMust-Have QualificationsStrong experience with Java Spring Boot and DockerExperience with microservices architectureStrong understanding of RBAC, multitenancy, and API-to-API synchronizationComfortable working with high data volumes and real-time data ingestionStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamNice-to-Have QualificationsExperience with CCTV camera integration or binary data access (e.g., S3, MinIO, Azure Blob Storage)Experience with KubernetesExperience in the retail industry or other industrial verticalsDevOps capabilities, specifically with AzureExperience with GitOps via Flux or similar technologiesFamiliarity with security best practices for API development and data protection.Other NotesThe candidate should be proactive and business- and end-user focused. Given our global team structure, the candidate should be comfortable working with remote team members and have strong communication skills.
