  • RFT Tech, Wholesale Credit Risk is a part of RFT and is responsible for providing regulatory reporting systems to the Barclays Capital finance department to aid compliance with the Basel accords. The department is primarily responsible for gathering data from the Bank's trading systems and producing Risk Weighted Assets calculations on the Bank's central regulatory system for reporting to Barclays Group

  • The department is in the midst of development for Basel Regulatory projects and has engaged upon moving the current architecture away from legacy implementation. The team utilises Agile (Scrum) as the delivery method.
  
  

• We are looking for talented QlikView/QlikSense UI developer to help build, maintain and support this new architecture. The key experience required is the development of business applications that process large volumes in a performant way.

What will you be doing?

• Need to develop QlikView guided analytics and Qlik Sense self-serve dashboards, including modelling of source data, designing/developing and testing scripts.
• Work with SQL database and Autosys jobs.
• Work with business users and business analysts to drill into requirements.
• Work within scrum / business teams to come up with the functional and technical design of the applications.
• Build and deploy.
• Post implementation support.
• Continuous improvement and contribute to the design and architecture of the overall solution.

What we’re looking for:

• Expertise in developing Qlik Sense and Qlikview applications and understanding of other BI tools
• Knowledge of Tableau.
• Good experience in MS SQL Server with writing queries and all other objects.
• Knowledge of VCS tools such as GIT and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of automation deployment tool.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodology and software development approach.
• Numerate degree or equivalent certification

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge of web programming languages, e.g. JavaScript and jQuery technologies.
• Knowledge of python script.
• Knowledge of Power-BI.
• knowledge of DevOps automation features (CI/CD).
