Summary: Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant with 3 years of experience in US Payroll. This role will involve configuring and supporting the Oracle Cloud Payroll module to meet the needs of the business and ensuring the effective implementation of payroll solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Payroll and its integration with other HCM (Human Capital Management) modules, specifically for the US payroll environment. Key Responsibilities: Configuration & Implementation: Configure Oracle Cloud Payroll to meet the clients business requirements for the US Payroll process. Lead and assist in implementing Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions, ensuring smooth integration with other Oracle Cloud modules like HCM and Finance. Conduct system testing, resolve issues, and ensure all configurations align with business processes. Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing, calculation, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws. Understand payroll taxation, deductions, and benefits integration to ensure accurate processing. Ensure all payroll-related reports, audits, and year-end processes are completed accurately and on time. Functional Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing functional support for Oracle Cloud Payroll applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll processing, integrations, and reporting. Work closely with business stakeholders to define payroll requirements and translate them into functional specifications. System Upgrades & Maintenance: Assist with regular system upgrades and patches for Oracle Cloud Payroll to ensure the latest features and compliance updates are implemented. Review and test new Oracle Cloud Payroll features for potential enhancements. Documentation & Training: Prepare functional documentation for system configuration, processes, and solutions. Provide training to end-users and business stakeholders on Oracle Cloud Payroll functionality and best practices. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Payroll, with a focus on US Payroll. In-depth knowledge of US payroll legislation, tax reporting, compliance, and processing. Experience in configuring and implementing Oracle Cloud HCM (Human Capital Management) applications, particularly Payroll. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Payroll functionalities such as Payroll Processing, Costing, Taxation, Deductions, Benefits Integration, and Reporting. Experience with integration of Oracle Cloud Payroll with other Oracle modules like HCM, Finance, and Time & Labor. Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Oracle BI Publisher) for generating payroll-related reports. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various business units and technical teams. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Education: Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. Preferred Skills: Oracle Cloud Payroll Certification. Experience with integrations between Oracle Cloud and third-party applications. Familiarity with US payroll systems and tools.
