You will be working as Application Developer and reporting to the Project Operations Manager for Electrification business area, Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. You will be responsible for application design, strategy and ensures the application remain fit for purpose for business processes. Your responsibilities Participating in and drive applied solution and technology transfer projects resulting in concepts, prototypes, patents and academic publications Ensuring effective design, development, validation and supporting activities in line with the customer needs, architectural requirements and ABB standards Supporting ABB business units through consulting engagements Ensuring continual knowledge management Adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes, International travel on need basis Your background Bachelor of Engineering master\'s in Computer Science/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Instrumentation & Controls/ Industrial Engineering with a strong publication record Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in building and designing cloud applications using Microsoft azure cloud technologies Strong Understanding of RESTful services using Node.js, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Angular 2/4/6/7, HTML/CSS, XML/JSON Working knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Azure Database, No SQL (Cosmos DB/ MongoDB), Data Modeling, Azure AD, ADFS, Identity & Access Management Understanding on Azure Data Services including ADF, ADLS, Blob and experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies Understanding of Version Control principles, preferably using Git, Github, Pull Requests Understanding of GitFlow, DevOps, Continuous Deployment and Integration More about us ABB\'s Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity.
