Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly to support business operations. You will engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in, ensuring that the applications you develop align with the strategic goals of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of application specifications and user guides. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: Apriso Developer 2 to 5 years' experience. o Experience in working with MES platforms such as Apriso or other similar platforms is meritorious. o Understanding of other systems in the industrial IT landscape such as ERP, IIOT, and SCADA. o Expertise in the MESA model and underlying standards such as the ISA95 standard. o Understanding the impact of Industry 4.0 on industrial IT systems and architectures. o Modeling experience in creating and maintaining architectural visions and technical roadmaps for MES/MOM solutions. o Strong communication and presentation skills in English for effectively conveying architectural recommendations and best practices. o Developing different views at different levels, from simple to complex depending on the need and audience. o Agile methodology experience (SCRUM/Kanban). o Ensure MES/MOM solutions are realized correctly and align with the defined architectural direction. o Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Architects, Developers, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Line Managers, Product Owners, and other Software Architects. o Work closely with the Scania IT Infrastructure department to communicate MES/MOM needs and secure overall IT architecture for MES/MOM solutions. o Work with end-to-end development teams to run and maintain MES/MOM solutions for each value stream. o Contribute to the continuous improvement of the MES/MOM architectural landscape by learning and incorporating modern technologies and tools. o Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills in English for effectively conveying architectural recommendations and best practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
