Summary: Role Overview: The ServiceNow ? Jira Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations between ServiceNow and Jira using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub. This role ensures seamless data synchronization, process automation, and governance compliance. Ideal Profile: A ServiceNow expert with working knowledge of Jira is ideal. Alternatively, a team approach can be used: one ServiceNow Integration Specialist and one Jira Administrator/Developer. The resource should be comfortable with integration patterns, governance, and secure design principles. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement flows and subflows in ServiceNow Flow Designer. 2. Configure IntegrationHub spokes, particularly Jira Spoke, for outbound actions. 3. Develop and manage Scripted REST APIs for inbound webhooks. 4. Ensure secure authentication and credential management. 5. Handle error management, retries, and monitoring of integration flows. 6. Collaborate with business analysts to implement field mappings and update rules. 7. Document integration logic and maintain upgrade-safe practices. Required Technical Skills: 1. ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub proficiency. 2. Experience with Scripted REST APIs and Glide scripting. 3. Knowledge of Jira REST API and webhook configuration. 4. Familiarity with JSON, REST principles, and data transformation. 5. Basic JavaScript for ServiceNow scripting tasks. Preferred Experience: 1. Prior projects involving ServiceNow-Jira integration. 2. Background in ITSM or DevOps environments. 3. Experience with IntegrationHub spokes beyond Jira (e.g., Slack, Teams). Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
