Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are aligned with business objectives. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, contribute to the overall project strategy, and continuously refine your skills to enhance application performance and user experience. Roles & Responsibilities: - Primary Responsibility: Design and develop business services using the RAP framework in ABAP Cloud or S/4HANA. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Develop behavior definitions, projections, and implementations for RAP business objects. - Create and manage CDS Views (Core Data Services) for data modeling. - Configure draft handling, validation, and authorization in RAP. - Integrate RAP applications with Fiori/UI5 or external OData consumers. - Optimize performance and reusability of ABAP RAP artifacts. - Handle lifecycle management (e.g., managed/unmanaged scenarios). - Perform unit testing and debugging using ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and ABAP Unit. - Collaborate with functional and UX teams to meet business requirements. - Assist in the documentation of application processes and workflows. - Engage in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Integration Suite. - Strong understanding of application development methodologies. - Experience with integration tools and techniques. - Familiarity with cloud-based application deployment. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
