Summary: As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes to ensure the applications function as intended, while continuously seeking ways to enhance the user experience and meet evolving business demands. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of application specifications and user guides. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud Development. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning. - Strong understanding of application development methodologies. - Experience in integrating applications with various data sources. - Familiarity with user interface design principles and best practices. Technical Expertise: - Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years working with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) in a development, implementation, or consulting capacity. - Expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories, models, and dashboards. Strong understanding of data modeling and data connections in SAC. - Experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA, and other data sources (e.g., SQL, flat files, etc.). - Proficiency in SAC scripting (JavaScript, CSS) and formula writing. - Familiarity with SAC planning, forecasting, and budgeting capabilities. - Experience with SAC's integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and third-party tools. Analytical Skills: - Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues related to SAC applications. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Good to have Skills: SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA experience. Knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects suite. Familiarity with other SAP Analytics tools like SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Data Services, or SAP Lumira. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
