Description:
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based web applications using modern frameworks and best practices
Build and support RESTful services using Spring Boot, including controllers and service layers
Develop and maintain web applications using JSP and MVC architecture
Work with content management solutions, specifically JAHIA CMS
Develop and support applications using Java GRAILS (Groovy)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Maintain source code using Git and follow version control best practices
Required Skills:
6+ years of experience in Java development
Strong experience with Spring Boot (REST APIs, Controllers, Services)
Experience with JSP and MVC architecture
Hands-on experience with JAHIA (Content Management System) -- mandatory
Hands-on experience with Java GRAILS (Groovy) -- mandatory
Proficiency with Git
Front-end experience with JavaScript (ES6 basics), HTML5, and CSS3
Good to Have Skills:
Web Analytics
Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX
CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy)
Monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React
Nice to Have Skills:
Cloud technologies
Jira, Kanban, and Agile methodologies
Jenkins
CI/CD pipeline implementation and support
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Java and web application development
Proven experience working on enterprise-level web applications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
