Job Description

The Salesforce Application Developer will join the Commercial Applications development team that creates state of art CRM and web applications with Salesforce Clouds, and web development tools. These applications are used by Ansys Marketing, Sales and business operations to manage over $1.6B in revenue. They are also used by our customers worldwide to interact with Ansys, use our software, and obtain support.
The Salesforce Application Developer will collaborate daily within an Agile SCRUM development team to configure and develop Salesforce applications in support of Marketing processes within Ansys. The Salesforce Application Developer will also collaborate with product owners about how to approach a business problem, how to deliver a business solution quickly, and what would be the resulting customer experience.
The Salesforce Application Developer plays ultimately a key role as an advocate for customer experience and product quality and helps build customer facing applications that meet todays digital world expectations fast, accurate, and reliable.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver new features and maintain existing features in Salesforce platform.
Collaborate with product owners to define, scope, and size the approach to business requirements.
Collaborate with architects to develop system designs and recommend technical solutions.
Support the integration and data preparation with SQL experience.
Configure flows, Lightning Web Components, security settings, validation rules, page layouts, and other object customizations.
Perform Apex programming in Salesforce platform to support various business functions.
Ability to integrate 3rd Party APIs with Salesforce and Pardot.
Work with CRM development team in Agile SCRUM framework.
Provide constructive feedback and recommendation to the Agile SCRUM team(s) as part of the retrospectives.
Work closely with the QA and Dev Ops teams to optimize the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and test automation frameworks for the team.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience:
Bachelors degree
Salesforce certifications like - platform app builder, developer, Admin.
5 years of development experience on Salesforce.
Experience on Salesforce development involving Apex classes, Apex triggers, and SOQL queries with deep understanding and hands-on experience on Salesforce limits and test class coverage.
Lightning web and aura components
Experience in configuring Salesforce automation with Flow
Intensive hands-on experience in Salesforce security model.
Experience in development of web services and enterprise application integrations with Salesforce.
Experience in code versioning and deployment tools such as VSCode, Salesforce CLI, Git, Ant.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment that operates under the self-organizing principles of Agile.
Understanding of, and the ability to put into practice, development, and quality standards for software development.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, able to present ideas and recommendations.
