Summary: As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly to support organizational goals. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes to enhance application performance and user experience, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and optimization in your work. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of application specifications and user guides. - Engage in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices. - A Python resource with six years of experience typically holds a range of responsibilities that reflect their advanced skills and expertise. - Software Development: Designing, coding, and testing Python applications, ensuring high-quality and efficient code. - Framework Utilization: Leveraging popular frameworks such as Django or Flask to build robust web applications. - Database Management: Interacting with databases using ORM tools like SQLAlchemy, and ensuring data integrity and optimization. - Code Review and Mentorship: Conducting code reviews to maintain code quality and providing guidance to junior developers. - Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to deliver comprehensive solutions. - Problem Solving: Analyzing and troubleshooting issues in existing applications, implementing effective solutions. - Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding processes. - Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest Python developments and best practices to enhance personal and team performance. - These responsibilities highlight the critical role that an experienced Python resource plays in driving successful software projects. Professional & Technical Skills: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Python - Strong understanding of application development frameworks and methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Familiarity with database management and SQL. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently. - A professional with six years of experience in Python development possesses a robust skill set that includes proficiency in various frameworks such as Django and Flask, as well as expertise in data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and are adept at writing clean, maintainable code. - Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, showcasing excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for stakeholders. - Problem-solving capabilities are complemented by a keen attention to detail, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards. - Continuous learning, staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices, which enhances their ability to contribute effectively to innovative projects. - Robust technical background, demonstrating proficiency in various aspects of Python programming. - Adept at developing scalable applications, utilizing frameworks such as Django and Flask, and have a solid understanding of RESTful API design. - Experience in version control systems like Git, enabling effective collaboration within development teams. - Exposure to cloud services, such as AWS or Azure, enhancing their ability to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
