Description:
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - DevOps opening for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Analyze clients' IT environments to improve efficiency using DevOps tools and methodologies in traditional or cloud settings.
Prepare gap analysis documents and/or design proposed DevSecOps automation adoption roadmaps across development and operations.
Architect DevSecOps tooling infrastructure and define interface requirements among integrated tool sets and DevSecOps platforms.
Mentor DevOps engineers on best practices, tools, and methodologies.
Participate in project delivery and support for solution design, build, test, deployment, and application performance management.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and market developments to inform project solutions and offerings.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automation, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Experience:
Proven experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer or Application Developer in implementing DevOps practices.
Experience in designing, building, and managing DevOps toolchains and automation pipelines.
Hands-on experience in cloud-native and hybrid environments.
Experience mentoring or leading technical teams is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Relevant certifications in DevOps, Cloud platforms, or security are a plus (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
