Job Title: Robotics Associate Manager Location: Bengaluru Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Robotics Associate Manager to lead and oversee the development, design, and implementation of robotics systems for our [company's product/service]. As a Robotics AM, you will lead a team of engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative robotic solutions that meet the needs of the business. This role requires strong technical expertise in robotics, and the ability to drive projects from concept to completion. Roles & Responsibilities: -Lead a team of robotics engineers and technicians to design, prototype, and develop robotic systems and solutions. -Manage the development lifecycle of robotics projects from initial concept, system design, testing, and deployment. -Collaborate with other engineering teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineering, to ensure the seamless integration of robotics systems. -Ensure that robotics systems meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and performance specifications. -Drive continuous improvement in robotics system performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. -Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving. -Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful and on-time delivery of robotics projects. -Develop and implement testing protocols for robotic systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety. -Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in robotics to help guide the team toward best practices. -Work with product management and other stakeholders to define product requirements and align the robotics development efforts with business goals. -Provide technical leadership and resolve complex engineering challenges throughout the development process. -Oversee the documentation of engineering designs, processes, and specifications. Professional & Technical Skills: -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. -10+ years of experience in robotics development. -Strong knowledge of robotic hardware, sensors, actuators, and control systems. -Experience with robotics programming languages such as ROS (Robot Operating System), Python, C++, or similar. -Proficiency in robotic simulation tools and CAD software. -Familiarity with machine learning, computer vision, and AI technologies applied to robotics is a plus. -Proven experience managing and leading cross-functional teams. -Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to project management. -Strong communication skills and ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. -Experience in developing and managing budgets and timelines for engineering projects. -Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in robotics. Additional Info: - The Candidate should have experience with industrial automation or robotic manufacturing systems, as well as familiarity with cloud computing and data analytics in the context of robotics. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
