Application Developer

Know it matters. Application Developers are responsible for making application changes to provide the required IT services functionality for one or more applications under a Delivery Team. This includes the development and maintenance of custom applications as well as the customization of products from software vendors.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?xc2xb7 Implement and document change in accordance with an approved SDLC process s and development standards.xc2xb7 Unit testing conducted to ensure changes are of sufficient quality before system testing.xc2xb7 Assist in impact analysis.xc2xb7 Work collaboratively with developers on other teams, internal and external, onshore and offshore.xc2xb7 Support analysis and resolution of defects during application testing phases.xc2xb7 May serve as a member of a Major Incident Team.xc2xb7 L3 support for problem root cause analysis.xc2xb7 Resolution of functional defects found during testing.xc2xb7 Estimation development.xc2xb7 Assist with the creation of operational guidelines.xc2xb7 Assist with technical analysis of solution design.xc2xb7 Proactively identify and communicate improvement opportunities.You will report to the Technical Architect.QualificationsSHARE your talentWere looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:xc2xb7 Proven development skills in one or more programming languages with specific skills within the .net domain.xc2xb7 Knowledge of current .net frameworks, SDKs, APIs, libraries/packages, identity and access management, Logging, Networking and cyber security standards.xc2xb7 Experience working with APIs and system integrations.xc2xb7 Working knowledge of cloud-based technologies.xc2xb7 Prefer proficiency with multiple application delivery models including Agile, iterative and waterfall.xc2xb7 Familiarity with CICD tooling, Harness experience beneficial.xc2xb7 Some prior work experience in an insurance or technology field.Desired Skills and Abilities:xc2xb7 Adaptable to new/different strategies, programs, technologies, practices, cultures, etc. Comfortable with change, able to easily make transitions.xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred.xc2xb7 Optional interest in business or system analysis in an analyst/programmer capacity.FIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
