Location:- Bangalore Refer duplicates from old CSA Old CSA - U2VTCB Total Years of Exp: 4+ Relevant Years of Exp: 3+ Mandatory Skills: Oracle DBA Core DBA Skill : Performance tuning - To identify the performance bottleneck at database Instance Level , SQL Tuning , system Architecture , scalability issues . RMAN backup recovery - Recovery Manager (RMAN) tool is used for backup and recovery of large databases . RAC/ASM cluster - Real Application Clusters (RAC) & Automated Storage Management (ASM) are partof \'High Availability\' infrastructure features . Dataguard - Oracle Data Guard ensures high availability, data protection, and disaster recovery for enterprise data. Data Guard provides a comprehensive set of services that create, maintain, manage, and monitor one or more standby databases to enable production Oracle databases to survive disasters and data corruptions CPU/one-off patching - (Cumulative Patch Update) are quarterly patches released by Oracle to update security / functions for oracle database binaries update only . patches related to specific issue are know as one-off patches . Grid Infrastructure Patching is complex and time consuming . In CPU Patch release we focus on Database / Retail / EBS 12.2 / OID - SSO patches OEM Alerts -Oracle Enterprise Manager tool issues an alerts messages those are set / configured for DBA team to review . Proactive monitoring and resolution - Scripts that keep info of health and alert once thresholds are breached . e.g. Disk space /Table space alerts ..etc. Custom scripting for monitoring - This type of monitoring is for specific are where dba\'s want focus on . e.g. Long running Allocations , Database backup ..etc SSO/OID integration Good knowledge of Single Signon (SSO) and OID (Oracle Intranet Directory) and there integration with other applications e.g. Oracle Retail ,Oracle EBS 12.2 . Architecture Cluster setup/ troubleshoot Performance tuning Identifying logfiles, taking thread dumps and analyzing those Start / Stop (Admin / Managed Servers , Node Manager) Patching IBM AIX / Linux - Its always good to know the general commands for these OS as our DB runs on IBM AIX and Applications on Linux. Should be good enough to write scripts whenever required. Should have good experience in troubleshooting performance issues in AIX/Linux.
