Your Role and Responsibilities
As Application Database Admin, you are responsible to design, develop, and support applications using products like Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2 and Teradata would fall under this role.

Responsibilities:

• Your primary responsibilities includes installation and configuration of Databases, back up, restoring databases, setting up High Availability, Disaster recovery, performance tuning, RAC administration etc.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall 5-7 years of experience as a DBA out of which atleast 2-3 years on PostgreSQL
• Experience in setting up large production databases including installing of PostgreSQL, setting up HA, back up and recovery experience is a must
• Experience migrating from any other RDBMS with target as PG is a must.

• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work

• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
