Description:
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant - ServiceNow opening for our premier client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 4 months
Core Competencies:

• ServiceNow Platform expertise - Catalog management, workflow configuration, form design
• Requirements gathering - Stakeholder interview techniques, process mapping, gap analysis
• Data analysis - Usage analytics interpretation, consolidation impact assessment
• Change management - User communication, training design, adoption strategies
• Project management - Milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, risk mitigation

Technical Skills:

• ServiceNow catalog item configuration and workflow modification
• SQL/reporting for usage analysis and metrics generation
• Documentation and process mapping tools
• Basic training material development

Stakeholder Management:

• Experience working with Service Owners and IT support teams
• Ability to facilitate workshops and drive consensus on consolidation decisions
• Strong communication skills for executive reporting and user change management

4-Month Milestone Framework:

• Month 1: Discovery & Analysis

• Week 2: Complete usage analysis of 2,000 catalog items with prioritization matrix
• Week 3: Conduct stakeholder workshops with Service Owners and IT4U team
• Week 4: Deliver consolidation strategy with 40-50% reduction roadmap approved by leadership
• Month 2: Quick Wins Implementation

• Week 6: Execute 60% of consolidations (low-risk, high-impact items)
• Week 7: Design streamlined workflows for remaining high-value catalog items
• Week 8: Complete first wave testing and validation with key stakeholders
• Month 3: Final Consolidation

• Week 10: Implement remaining 40% of consolidations (complex items)
• Week 11: Deploy enhanced forms and workflow improvements
• Week 12: Launch user communications and basic training rollout
• Month 4: Governance & Closure

• Week 14: Implement essential catalog management processes and Service Owner training
• Week 16: Complete project documentation, metrics reporting, and integration with Quality & Continuous Improvement pillar of your ServiceNow Platform team

Success Metrics:

• Consolidation Achievement: 40-50% reduction in active catalog items
• User Experience: Streamlined catalog navigation and request processes
• Platform Integration: Aligned catalog structure supporting broader ServiceNow Platform roadmap
• Sustainable Governance: Essential processes in place for ongoing catalog management

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
