CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant - DevOps position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Develop, enhance, and maintain event management applications within Netcool/OMNIbus, HP OMI, and CP4AIOps ecosystems.
Build custom dashboards and alerting solutions using Grafana and Icinga integrated with Netcool data sources.
Implement microservices, APIs, and automation scripts to streamline alert ingestion, correlation, and enrichment workflows.
Migrate or modernize existing legacy integrations from HP OMI to Microfocus/OpenText ITOM platforms.
Develop parsers, probes, and gateways for data ingestion from diverse network and application monitoring tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on DevOps and observability modernization initiatives in hybrid cloud environments.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience in Netcool ObjectServer, Impact, and WebGUI development.
Strong understanding of event lifecycle management, alert correlation, and noise reduction techniques.
Experience with HP OMI integrations, policy configurations, and OpenText monitoring solutions.
Familiarity with automation and AIOps workflows using CP4AIOps or similar platforms.
Exposure to DevOps and observability modernization initiatives in hybrid cloud environments.
Nice to Have Skills:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
