CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant - AWS Cloud Migration position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Act as a consultant for Cloud Migration Solution delivery using the garage method for cloud.
Build and execute migration strategies and implement architectures for hybrid cloud platforms.
Map existing components and functionalities to AWS-specific services, providing expert guidance on the advantages and disadvantages of AWS services.
Lead rehosting, refactoring, rearchitecting, replatforming, and containerization initiatives.
Evaluate and recommend migration tools, network requirements, and pathways for application, database, and integration component migrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration and integration of applications to AWS.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience building and executing migration solutions for hybrid cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and the ability to design and implement cloud migration solutions.
Strong understanding of software architecture fundamentals and cloud migration best practices.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
