CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect - Quality Engineering position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Lead the design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise applications with a focus on quality and testing.
Develop and enforce best practices in application architecture, testing strategies, and quality engineering processes.
Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure applications meet functional and performance requirements.
Drive automation initiatives to improve test efficiency and application reliability.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies for testing and application modernization.
Provide mentorship and guidance to development and QA teams on architecture and quality practices.
Skills:
Strong expertise in application architecture, design patterns, and modern software development practices.
In-depth knowledge of quality engineering principles, testing frameworks, and test automation tools.
Experience with cloud-based application modernization and migration strategies.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages relevant to test automation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience:
Proven track record as an Application Architect, Solutions Architect, or senior Quality Engineer.
Hands-on experience leading large-scale application modernization or transformation projects.
Experience implementing automated testing frameworks in complex enterprise environments.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Relevant certifications in architecture, cloud platforms, or quality engineering are a plus.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
