Application Architect

The Application Architect will be responsible for the creation and management of the

application architecture landscape across Apex group and guiding collaborating with

global architectural framework within the organization.

The architect will also need to interpret, use, and apply information to support a range of

strategic activities, particularly those involved in the transition, integration, and

transformation of applications within the application architecture domain.

Collaborating with various stakeholders to determine solution requirements.

Collaborating with business and IT teams to define and transit to future state

architecture.

Creating high-level and low-level architecture documents based on evolving

application landscape and business requirements.

Developing and maintaining of application architecture team artefacts repository

• 
  patterns, application passports, knowledge base etc.

Working with the architecture management authority to ensure the solution

design meets the application landscape requirements and company\xe2\x80\x99s and

industry\xe2\x80\x99s policies, principles, standards, and best practices.

Proactively contributing to the development of internal standards, procedures,

processes, and guidelines for solutions\xe2\x80\x99 architecture.

Identifying risks, issues, and assumptions within the application landscape and

propose resolution and mitigation plans.

Responsible for staying updated on technology trends and provide impact

analysis on how it will affect the digital plans.

Skills Required

• 
  

12-15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role with a complex application landscape

within Financial Services.

• 
  

• 
  

University bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or equivalent qualifications

Extensive knowledge of the most current best practices, methods, tools, and

trends in application and solution architecture with Microsoft environment.

Very good understanding of cloud platforms and its services and applications.

Experience with complex application landscapes and complex applications and

integration designs.

Proficient in one or more modelling standards such as UML, BPMN, C4 model,

ArchiMate.

Experience with Modelling tools such as Archi, Visio, or other.

Experience working on transition and transformation projects will be beneficial.

Experience in the Funds or the Financial Industry will be beneficial.

Fluent English (spoken and written) necessary to work in an international

environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present in a clear

and concise manner.

Degree/Diploma in Development or technical field

Knowledge of cloud - Azure experience

Knowledge of working with in a DevOps environment
