Description:
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect - Open Source position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Design and implement software solutions leveraging open-source platforms and tools.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure architectures meet business objectives and technical requirements.
Develop resilient, high-availability application architectures aligned with regulatory and industry standards.
Establish and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) frameworks, including RTO/RPO targets, failover strategies, and scenario-based testing.
Conduct resiliency assessments and implement fault-tolerant solutions across hybrid and cloud platforms.
Map architectural controls to compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 22301, COBIT, and FFIEC CAT.
Skills:
Expertise in open-source development platforms, programming languages, and tools.
Strong understanding of IT architecture, resiliency, and regulatory compliance.
Experience designing fault-tolerant, high-availability solutions.
Knowledge of Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and execution.
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into maintainable, scalable architectures.
Experience:
Proven track record as an Application Architect or similar role, designing and implementing open-source software solutions.
Experience in resiliency testing, DR planning, and regulatory compliance in financial or enterprise environments.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
