Application Architect -ABAP

As an Application Architect, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our landscape to meet business goals to expand our business. You will assist with designing, developing, testing and implementing solutions in numerous SAP environments, in alignment with industry standards. You will work with a global team delivering robust solutions to meet the evolving needs of our dynamic organization. Candidates should have a broad range of experience and be willing to learn and adapt to an ever changing environment. The ideal candidate would have significant experience in SAP ABAP and additional experience with such technologies as PI/PO, EWM, CPI, BTP, Fiori, OData and Unix scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with functional teams and user community to investigate gaps between business needs and current system functionality
Works closely with the development teams in the design and development phases of end-to-end solutions
Assist with technical system documentation
Create and execute test plans/scripts/cases based on technical requirements defined in the solution documentation
Build and maintain a good working relationship with key business stakeholders of IT solutions implemented
Ensure compliance with integration standards and best practices
Provide timely resolution for system failures and performance bottlenecks
May be required to direct, schedule, motivate and coordinate the activities of IT, user and vendor personnel
Actively participate or mentor junior analysts in troubleshooting of integration issues
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience in all areas of SAP ABAP development
Experience with technologies such as PI/PO, EWM, CPI, BTP, Fiori, OData, Unix scripting a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proven ability to be adaptable, capable, self-motivated, and confident
Excellent facilitation and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills to include internal and external communication & documentation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required
7+ years of experience in SAP
