About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Create or visualize an idea and produce a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD)
2. Create mood boards, and fabric boards
3. Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors, and shapes
4. Plan and develop range, often based on a theme
5. Work with others in the design team to develop products to meet a brief
6. Liaise closely with merchants and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure items suit the customer, market, and price points
7. Understand design from a technical perspective, i.e., production feasibility and technical specifications for designs
