Job Title: Mobile App Developer (Flutter) Department: Software Development Role: Mobile App Developer Location: Hybrid Experience Required: 2-4 Years Reports To: Team Lead - Software Department About the Role We are looking for a skilled Mobile App Developer (Flutter) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing two core mobile applications and more: 1. Insurance Conference & Event Management App - built for managing insurance industry events, conferences, and networking sessions. 2. Retail Insurance Customer Zone App - designed for end customers to manage their insurance policies, make claims, renewals, and access digital documents. The developer will play a key role in maintaining existing codebases, implementing new features, improving performance, and integrating backend APIs to ensure a seamless user experience across both iOS and Android platforms. Key Responsibilities o Design, develop, test, and deploy Flutter mobile applications for iOS and Android. o Maintain and improve existing mobile apps, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. o Collaborate with backend developers for API integration (RESTful APIs, JSON). o Build responsive, user-friendly UI/UX aligned with design and brand guidelines. o Diagnose and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues. o Work closely with the product, UI/UX, and QA teams to ensure smooth feature delivery. o Manage app releases on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. o Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall development standards. o Document development processes, architecture, and standard components. Required Skills & Qualifications o 2-4 years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications using Flutter. o Strong knowledge of Dart programming language. o Proven experience publishing apps to Google Play and Apple App Store. o Good understanding of mobile app lifecycle, architecture, and performance tuning. o Experience in RESTful API integration, JSON parsing, and secure data handling. o Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket). o Knowledge of Firebase services (Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, etc.). o Understanding of modern mobile UI principles and responsive layouts. o Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment. Preferred / Advantageous Skills o Experience with Node.js backend development or integration. o Exposure to AWS / Cloud storage environments. o Knowledge of Push Notifications, App Analytics. o Experience working with insurance domain applications or fintech apps. Education o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
