Job Summary

The Clinic Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assisting doctors during consultations and procedures, maintaining clinical protocols, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the clinic. The role requires strong clinical skills, patient-handling abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical Support

Assist doctors in patient assessments, examinations, and minor procedures. Record and update patient vitals such as BP, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, weight, etc. Prepare patients for consultations, tests, and treatments. Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and IV infusions as per orders. Provide first aid and emergency care when required.

Clinical Operations

Maintain cleanliness, sterility, and readiness of consultation rooms and equipment. Manage and maintain medical supplies, consumables, and stocks. Perform sample collection (blood/urine/swab) if applicable. Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per biomedical guidelines. Assist in coordination of patient flow to reduce waiting time.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate medical records and nursing notes. Ensure proper documentation of procedures, medications, and vital signs. Support billing and documentation for services if required. Follow clinic policies, protocols, and statutory regulations.

Patient Interaction & Education

Provide patient counselling on basic health practices, medication usage, and follow-up care. Address patient queries with empathy and professionalism. Educate patients on preventive care and clinic services.

Qualifications & SkillsMandatory

GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing with valid registration. 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting (freshers may be considered). Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.

Skills Required

Strong clinical knowledge and nursing skills. Excellent communication and patient-handling skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols. Proficiency in basic computer operations / EMR preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
