Introduction: The role is within the Barclays Remediation Customer Services Portfolio where a number of sensitive and complex remediation programmes are at different stages of inception, build, testing and execution. Oversight and planning for the technology required to support a major regulatory project. The programme supports over 300 users, predominately in London but with satellite offices in the UK. A dedicated team of over 35 staff are involved in delivering data, applications, training, business analysis, testing and support services directly to the programme. Once established and bedded down the individual will have invaluable knowledge to effectively support a Product Engineer in delivery of work activities include but not limited to development & enhancement of workflow solution using .NET framework 4.6 and above, C#, WPF, SQL Server, ensuring data security, testing and troubleshooting databases, merging database information, and eliminating bugs. Expertise in .NET framework 4.6 and above, C#, WPF, SQL Server, performance improvements, teamwork, strong communication skills, multitasking, deployment process and time management. What will you be doing Interpret and analyse the requirement, and provide the accurate estimate to create a product increment based on the requirements. Develop and implement UI solution, build services & APIs using .NET framework 4.6 and above, C#, WPF, and integrate the same with databases SQL Serve. Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex requirement and suggest a reusable solution. Filter and \'clean\' data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Strong understanding of Software development lifecycle and Secure Code Development Advanced knowledge using .NET framework 4.6 and above, C#, WPF, SQL Server (T-SQL). Work with Tech lead and Business Analysts to clearly define and understand business requirements, development estimation and work plans for multiple internal enterprise projects. What we\'re looking for: Strong understanding of OOPs and Design Patters. Knowledge of Dot net framework 3.5 and above, C#, WPF and MVVM etc. Deployment process knowledge, Bit Bucket and GitHub , Veracode, SonarQube for Code Quality etc. Proven working experience in C# with WPF is essential. Well conversant in drafting technical specifications and should be able to justify the same with multiple stakeholders. Experience with MS SQL Server Database (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, SSIS etc), programming (XML or ETL frameworks), Data Warehousing. Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills. Roles and Responsibility - Work with multiple stakeholder (IT - project manager, release manager and Business people) to create test strategies and estimations. Identify, analyze, and developing complex requirements banking & financial sectors. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities in overall application development. Work with Tech lead and Business Analysts to clearly define and understand business requirements, impact assessment, estimation and work plans for multiple internal enterprise projects. Excellent customer service and communication skills as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
